About this guide

Floor, sound and lighting.

01

Floor

Ask about material, condition, cleaning, grip, transitions, thresholds and permitted footwear. Movement style and group density determine how much active floor is needed.

02

Sound

Confirm playback connections, room coverage, bass response, microphones, mixer needs and who controls volume. Bring final tracks offline when reliable playback is essential.

03

Lighting

Teaching needs even visibility; a social can use warmer dimmable light; filming needs flicker-free, controllable sources. Emergency routes must remain clear in every look.

04

Test the complete system

Schedule a technical check for public events and complex productions. Test the actual device, track, microphone, cue, projection and room orientation rather than relying on a generic equipment list.
